Welcome to the Massachusetts Office of the American Heart Association's Web Site!
The American Heart Association is dedicated to reducing disability
and death as a result of the nation's number one and number
three killers heart diseases and stroke. In Massachusetts
alone, more than 1 in 3 residents suffer from some form of
cardiovascular disease. Funded solely by public
contributions, our top priorities focus on investing in
research support, prevention, treatment, and public and
professional education programming. With the help of a corps
of statewide volunteers, the Massachusetts Office has
locally contributed over $29 million to research and
teaching hospitals in the Commonwealth, over the past five
years, striving toward a healthier tomorrow.
